health spaThe light, energized sensation in your body after a colonic is one of the best feelings in the world. There are more nerves in the gut than anywhere in the body, so having them all massaged and free of toxins creates a sense of calm and all-is-right-with-the-world. You will notice your mood shift, and solutions to problems you had been stressing about suddenly pop to the forefront of your brain. That sense of overwhelm or dread has likely disappeared. That is because 90% of our serotonin, which makes us feel happy and optimistic, is made in the gut. Colonics are about so much more than just moving waste.
