Let’s Talk Beauty—Skin Deep Beauty

February 7, 2022 by Julia Leave a Comment

How do you achieve skin deep beauty? Due to my extreme skin sensitivity, I tried everything. For 50 years, I was a Dr. Bronner’s soap and olive oil enthusiast. Honestly, I never imagined I would have an actual skincare ritual, but I do! I am 67, and for the last 12 years, I have devoted five minutes—morning and night—to a simple routine to rejuvenate my skin. Now, I am overjoyed to share my skincare methods within my new revolutionary beauty concept. Part of my revolutionary beauty concept includes interviews with high-profile women who demonstrate ageless beauty.

Dermatologist and one of my interviewed Revolutionary Beauties, Dr. Julia Hunter helped me to customize my skincare products. Meet Dr. Hunter on Instagram Live with me, so you can learn how to best care for your skin.

I also selected and interviewed the radiant Revolutionary Beauty Malea Rose who created Vie En Rose, and had me try her amazing hydrating spray and CBD-infused oil. However, whatever you decide to use, be consistent and give your skin time to adjust. Be patient—with a stress-free lifestyle you will see your skin rejuvenate.

How to Achieve Skin Deep Beauty

First, simplify your skin care routine to a morning refresh and an evening deep clean, followed by a moisturizer. Secondly, In the morning, splash your face with cold water, and apply a pH toner (apple cider vinegar), topped off by a moisturizer with sunscreen. Then, in the evening, remove makeup and grime with a nontoxic cleanser, micellar water, or natural oil. Lastly, tone again and add nourishing serum—plus a moisturizer, if your skin is dry. Personally, I use a peel five nights a week, because peels exfoliate the skin and build collagen.

Skin Deep Beauty Routine Recommendations from Julia Loggins

Below are my skin deep beauty routine ideas:

  1. Choose a natural, non-toxic cleanser. For daytime, I suggest the Love Potion Oil and Mile High Hydration Mist from Vie En Rose as well as the Vitamin C Serum from Dr. Hunter’s Skin Fitness Plus. Before bed, I enjoy the Love Potion Oil, Vitamin A & E Serum from Skin Fitness Plus.
  2. Slather your body in olive oil frequently.
  3. Wear hat and glasses in the sun. Also, try a tinted moisturizer with sun block.
  4. Sleep 7 hours nightly. Beauty sleep is key for skin health.
  5. Always stay hydrated.

Furthermore, as Revolutionary Beauty, Dr. Hunter says, “Food is your medicine; you are what you eat, and gut health is the foundation of beauty. Therefore, the number one beauty secret is, ‘Be healthy and happy!’ I can’t make a miracle with someone’s skin if they aren’t healthy; or if miserable.”
